Borehole geophysics is used to record and analyse data of the physical properties measured in wells. Probes are lowered into the borehole to measure different properties as either a continuous log or as point data.
Borehole geophysics is used to obtain information on well construction, rock lithology, fractures, porosity, permeability, water quality, etc.
The logging system consists of probes, a logging cable with a winch, and a recording and processing unit.
